Pabi Moloi

To unearth all these opportunities for these kids is what matters the most... it gives them hope

The word Kgaketsa is a Southern Sotho word that translates to 'uphold and support'. The Kgaketsa Foundation was created in 2009 with a dream to empower young people in South Africa through events and expos. Guests are introduced to individuals and mentors with the view to expand knowledge, network and solidify a winning attitude. Presenting Yourself to life - a high school career expo -and Dressed for Success - highlighting work readiness and personal development - were launched in 2012. Please see the videos below

The arts are a very special part of my personal expression and I am continually writing music. I hope to make music an even bigger part of my already fulfilling career.

Pabi Moloi studied music at Allenby Campus under the tutorledge of, amongst others, RJ Benjamin. Pabi was a part of the house music troupe The Sonic Divas from 2000 to 2003. She has sung on stage before Nelson Mandela in musical theatre productions, wowed thousands at the 2009 Gay Pride March and performed at numerous corporate events. Please see Pabi Moloi's rendition of Wings beneath my Wings below

The rush live TV is my favourite feeling in the world. My TV career has introduced me to luminaries and taken me around the world.

Television and Radio broadcast is what Pabi Moloi is most well known. From physical comedy and improvisational live TV on the show Play TV to showing off her more glamourous side on the SAFTA winning magazine show All Access Mzansi, there is hardly a genre of show Pabi Moloi has not hosted.

I made my first radio demo as a 13 year old, in my mother's house with my friend Tshepi. We were obsessed with the boy band 3T and pretty much dedicated the entire demo to stories about them and played only their songs. The experience of being on the radio is ever evolving and it keeps me on my toes with every show. I love it!

From winning the HotJocks presenter search in 2002 on 94.7 Highveld Stereo to The Morning After The Night Before weekend breakfast show on Metro FM to a short stint on YFM before returning to 94.7, Pabi's first ten years in the radio world have been a wild ride! Pabi Moloi is currently on Power FM, Friday and Saturday, 18:00 - 21:00
